Keren's provides support to the administration team by helping with bookings, welfare and accommodation. She also looks after the Fifty Plus social programme. Keren joined the school in March 2014 after working in administration for a local primary school. She is interested in languages, travel and gardening and she also enjoys hosting international students.
Jay is responsible for the Accommodation Department and for student welfare, in particular under-18s. She joined ELC in October 2014 after working for another language school in Eastbourne for five years. Originally from Latvia, Jay is fluent in English, Latvian and Russian. She moved to Eastbourne in 2008 and now lives with her family very close to the sea. In her free time she enjoys reading and trying out new baking recipes with her children. She also enjoys dancing salsa.
Maxine is responsible for enrolments and coordinating groups. She joined ELC in 2015 after working in the hotel industry. Born in Cape Town, she is half South-African and half Austrian, speaks German and Dutch fluently and has a degree in International Hospitality Management. In her spare time she enjoys reading, exercising, cooking. She loves to travel and learn about the food and history of different countries.
Tyler is responsible for the maintenance of ELC's buildings and gardens. He joined the school in 2012 having previously worked in construction. In his free time, Tyler is a keen motor biker.
Luke is responsible for the social programme at the school. Originally from Torquay, he joined ELC in March 2016. He has previously been an activity leader at another language school just outside Brighton. He then moved to Eastbourne and really loved the town so he stayed! Luke is always positive and loves doing all sorts of activities and sports which means he offers a great variety in the ELC social programme.
Marisa works as part of the accounts team and joined ELC in 2015. Marisa is originally from Brazil but has lived in the UK for more than 10 years. She likes reading, watching movies and spending time with her family. She also loves cooking and is always looking out for vegan recipes to be healthy!
